New Orleans is a city of life filled with all types of unique cultural arts everywhere one looks.  Al Sprague relocated to New Orleans the summer of 2017 and was immediately inspired to capture his surroundings within The Big Easy.

 

Just like the famous impressionist artists, Toulouse Lautrec and Edgar Degas, Sprague began hanging out at the local bars and clubs to gather subject matter for his paintings.  This led to the creation of a series of paintings, "New Orleans Jazz".
